Château Brochon

Château Brochon

Château Brochon comes from a vineyard situated in Portets (between Pessac Leognan and Sauternes), one of the best terroir of the Graves region. Owned by the Laulan family for many generations, this small vineyard has been well looked after. Very small yield and grapes picked by hand, give to this red wine based on Merlot some very high standard in quality.

The maceration, fermentation and aging take place in small stainless steel vat, before the bottling one year later. The wine will age in new oak barrel (50%) for one year before bottling.

The Grande Cuvée de Château Brochon is a selection of this small vineyard and aged in barrels to give to the wine more complexity and a better potential for aging. The production is a very small run of 1200 bottles.
